Reel 1, 28th Inf. sentries man castles at Montabaur, Fr., and Molsburg and Malmeneich, Prussia, and check civilians' passes. Machine guns are set up. 26th Div. sentries stop civilians at Hundsengen. Shows 16th Inf. and 6th F.A. troops on maneuvers. Shows Gens. Hines and McGlachlin. 5th F.A. troops pass in review at Hunsdorf. Horses are dipped in mange cure. "Santa Claus" gives gifts to 1st Div. troops at Montabaur. Reel 2, firemen battle a fire in Montabaur. Gen. McGlachlin watches track and field meets, artillery exhibitions, and a horse show. 1st Div. troops present a circus-rodeo. Reel 3, Gen, F.C. Marshall inspects the 28th Inf. McGlachlin greets Pershing at Montabaur. 7th F.A. troops, commanded by Kermit Roosevelt, fire a requiem salute to Theodore Roosevelt. Marshall and McGlachlin review the 26th and 28th Reg'ts and pin the Croix de Guerre on the 28th's battle flag. Pershing, McGlachlin, Parker, and Marshall review the 16th, 18th, 26th, and 28th Inf. Reg'ts and the 6th F.A. Pershing, Dickman, and Hines review the 1st Div. Reel 4, Pershing presents the D.S.M. to McGlachlin. Shows circus and rodeo events at the 1st Div. reunion in Montabaur. Pershing decorates the 1st's battle flag. Shows Gens. Hines, Allen, Parker, Connor, and McGlachlin.
